On Feb. 22, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced that the suspension of China Southern Airlines’ flight CZ6068 will last for another 2 weeks, starting March 8.
Six passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ6068 from Kathmandu arriving in Guangzhou, China on Feb. 11.
Last week, flight CZ6068 has been asked to suspend operations from Feb. 22, for triggering the circuit breaker mechanism. Quotas for the flight shall not be used for other routes.
2 flights from France to China to be canceled
According to the Chinese Embassy in France, the French civil aviation authority has canceled two flights from France to China, including flight MU570 (Feb. 28) of China Eastern Airlines from Paris to Shanghai and flight CZ348 (March 4) of China Southern Airlines from Paris to Guangzhou.
Passengers of the flights above, especially those who choose them as a connecting flight, are advised to adjust their travel plans, to avoid getting stranded or deported.
