Death toll rises to 9 in Russian school shooting

The death toll at a school shooting in the Russian city of Kazan on Tuesday has increased to nine, with four others hospitalized, local media reported.

Earlier reports said that a 17-year-old, who has been detained, shot dead a teacher and six students at the school.

Law enforcement agencies are working at the scene, and security measures have been strengthened at all educational institutions in Kazan.
