The Fourth France-China Culture Forum kicked off on Monday in Nice, France. More than 300 guests from both France and China gathered together to discuss the two countries' cooperation in fields such as tourism, culture, film and education.With this year marking the 55th anniversary of China-France diplomatic ties, the theme of the forum this year was set as Belt and Road Initiative: Dialogue of Civilazations and Mutually Beneficial Cooperation.
An exhibition on artworks about wine was hosted at the Mediterranean University Centre on the sidelines of the forum. Eight Chinese artists and seven French artists presented their works, in-cluding sculptures, paintings, photographs, videos and art installations.
For the sculpture Holy Grail, Chinese artist Wang Ge combined the features of grails that were used in ancient China's sacrificial ceremonies and the Holy Grail from Arthurian literature.
The painting Grape Harvester Couple by French artist Capucine Néouze depicts two grape harvesters the artist met while he was traveling in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
