An exhibition of cultural relics from the ancient civilization of the Andes in Peru will be launched at Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on Friday.

The more than 200 pieces on display come from 11 Peruvian museums and Guangdong Museum. They include pottery and metal wares, textile items and mummies.

The exhibition will run through May 5.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Peru.
